Recent days, the first batch of 4 units 10 feet specialised equipment containers, which was commissioned by a branch of Southwest Military Area Command, has rolled off from the assembly line of Standard Automobile. This kind of 10 feet containers are standard in terms of their dimension, 2438mm in height. Demountable deckers and brackets which are functioning as loading missile inspection instruments have been equiped inside of the container, reaching the purpose of mobile operation.
Standard weathering steel plates, SPH-A, have been adapted to the steel structures of these containers. Side walls are 1.6 mm in thickness. Top and front walls are 2.0 mm in thickness. Zinc-rich primer and acrylic topcoat have been applied to the surface of all walls, achieving a great anti-corrosive performance while uniformly making them militarily camouflaged.
The army request the equipment container should be able to sustain at least 2.5 tons during moving load and 4.5 tons during static load, and would be placed on the neck of a flatbed semi-trailer, allowing hoisting. All 4 containers have passed waterproof test, truck crane test, crane test, etc, achieving a high standard in terms of their waterproofness and strength. The client says that they are looking forward to further cooperation with us on military-use containers in the future.
